Both the track for the camera and the flash grip can be adjusted left-to-right for an ideal setup. On top of the grip is a detachable ballhead with a flash shoe that's sturdy enough to hold all shoe-mount flashes in any position. One can accessorize by adding a flexible arm, so that the flash can be positioned in a variety of places ( including directly over the lens center ). There is also a rigid arm extension.
